Lovely welcoming place we visited multiple times on our holiday. Made a dish for my 8 year old son that wasn’t on the menu. We felt at home here and hope to visit Martin and team again in the future!

My husband and I are currently staying in Santa Pola and were a little nervous to eat out at first since our Spanish is extremely limited. However, we really didn’t need to worry! We decided to go to Maymar for an evening meal. My husband ordered the Lomo (pork loin with chips and salad) while I went for the Hamburgue Pecado (a hamburger with caramelised onions and pineapple), after the waiter kindly recommended trying one of the burgers. Both dishes were delicious! and the price for the meals and an alcoholic drink each was very reasonable. The waiter was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very comfortable. Service was quick, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. A lovely experience – thank you, Maymar! I'm sure we'll be back before we leave. * Kicking ourselves for not checking the opening hours to realise Maymar is closed on Wednesdays. We had planned to return on our last night before returning to the UK.

We have had dinner for 2 days of 4 and this is the best restaurant in st pola for international food for adults and children. Remarkable good service with affordable price levels. Top 5 resturant around here!

Wir waren direkt zur Öffnung um 19:00 im Restaurant. Die Getränkebestellung wurde zügig aufgenommen, eine Speisekarte bekamen wir nur auf Nachfrage. Dabei wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass der Koch erst um 19:30 käme. Die Bestellung wurde dann schon aufgenommen und das Essen kam auch in angemessener Zeit, nachdem der Koch eingetroffen war. Das Hamburgerpatty war leider sehr kompakt und hatte eine leicht bittere Note, die Pommes waren sehr gut. Die Panade der bestellten Calamaris war leider weich und nicht knusprig. Die Dorade war aber toll, außen knusprig und innen saftig.

Outstanding! Just two streets back from the beach road and by far the best place we ate in Santa Pola. Myself, partner and eldest son recieved a very warm welcome from our server who was very attentive but not intrusive. Fantastic outside space that is well appointed and is heated to take the edge of a cold evening. Then there's the food! My partner had the Dorado fish which was beautifully crispy on the outside and flavorful and juicy inside, I had the pineapple and caramelized onion burger which I was sceptical about but I was sooo wrong, top 5 burgers ever and our son had the chicken burger which was also really well cooked. Great service, fresh innovative food cooked with passion, lovely space to eat. Oh and its truly great value! Can't recommend enough
